Waste, Waste Water & Ancillary Services
In 2017 the water market deregulated which meant that competition was opened and public sector organisations had to ensure that complaint contracts were in place. LPP worked with the London Energy Project (LEP) to establish a London-wide water contract utilising the Crown Commercial Service 'Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services' framework (RM3790).
Benefits of the contract
A competition has already been undertaken, and as of May 2018 all LPP's London members can access the contract by completing an access agreement, available to download from the 'Supporting Information' box on the right.
The specification used to select the preferred LPP/LEP supplier focused on quality and improving service from the provider.
Banding together on this regional basis gave us the opportunity to go to market with a far bigger commitment than we could offer as the London NHS alone. The result is a contract which has benefits above and beyond water savings (which are difficult enough to get in this market). As well as aiming for savings, the contract provides for:
- account management
- leak detection
and other added value services.
To gain access to the contract when you are ready, please complete and return the access agreement aand the template letter of authority see right), so that we can begin making arrangements on your behalf. Please note that you will need to be logged on to the LPP website to access the documents.
Once we have these, we can also provide you with a standard board report and a tool to enable you to calculate and then report on your savings.
Please return your forms to email@example.com. Simon is also happy to take any questions you might have.
London Energy Project will support LPP and all LPP members with ongoing management of contracts awarded.
